Infinite Jest
BPDV loaned me Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. I’ve only read 6 pages which took me about 1 hour. The last 5 of those in 15 minutes which leaves 45 for the first page. Not that the first page is more dificult but the flow wasn’t set yet.
Like when starting Dave Eggers A Staggering work… I learnt new english words because especially on the first page I want to pay respect...

WatchI had a pizza influenza last tuesday in Rotterdam. The city is buzzing about this. I never even heard of it, but now I want to have one too. Yes, I’ll jump on any bandwagon as long as it’s not too crowded.

NRC next bericht over de nieuwe duitse woorden top tien. Eigenlijk is duits het nieuwe zuidafrikaans wat betreft geniale logische woorden bedenken.
