I learned about George Steiner in a series called “Van de schoonheid en de troost” on dutch television. I would love to be able to construct sentences on the go like he does. He is a great believer of learning things by heart because people can never take that away from you. He hates footnotes in books.
Einstein once said never learn something you can easily google. Don’t know what to believe now.
